Sidney Harman Hall, the DC home to Music With Friends, is a stunning venue in the heart of the city’s vibrant Penn Quarter. Opened in 2007 and owned by the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC), Harman Hall is designed with the performers and audience in mind. Incorporating both a detailed elegance and the highest quality acoustics, the theater offers an outstanding and intimate experience from any seat in the house.
A beautifully lit three-story glass façade surrounds the theater’s reception areas on F Street directly across from the Capital One Arena. Before each of our concerts, pre-show receptions will offer true VIP experiences that include high end complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres and open bar selections. Post-concert after parties will also be held in the venue or at nearby restaurants within easy walking distance. A private elevator from the underground validated parking garage will carry our members and guests directly into the theater lobby.
With Shakespeare at its core, the nonprofit Shakespeare Theatre Company produces and presents the highest quality classic theater across genres, bringing them to vibrant life in a provocative, imaginative and accessible style. Music With Friends is proud to provide support to STC via a donation of eight Music With Friends concert seats per show and is committed to additional financial support of STC’s Bard Association.
