The 25th of September is now a historical date for Music with Friends Houston. It is the day we had our very first show, The Mavericks at the newly built venue, Jeanette & L.M. The George. A show of pure Rock 'n Roll has never been finer as The Mavericks won over the entire crowd and had everyone on their feet dancing the night away. The Mavericks bolted out their signature songs - All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down, O What a Thrill and Dance the Night Away and even did a couple cover songs with influences from the Beach Boys, Linda Ronstadt. Members raved about the food from Cordua catering and Brennans of Houston and tequila drinks from Pura Vida during the pre-show party. The fun didn't stop after the show as members and their guests were elated to see the Mavericks join them at the post-show party and even took photos with them.
